New Grantee for 2017

Strive for Change Foundation has added a new grantee to our list of nonprofit organizations that provide important job-training to the working poor in Alameda and Contra Costa counties:  Monument Impact, a 16-year old nonprofit group that addresses the needs of low-income immigrants in Concord and helps them rise out of poverty through its Workforce Development programs. The organization primarily serves a Latino community with a variety of programs that include a Day Labor program, comprehensive technology classes (beginning through advanced), and a Career Track program that integrates computer training, English language skills, and professional development classes.

Monument is now joins our list of grantee organizations: The Bread Project; Cypress Mandela Training Center; Green Energy Training Services (GETS) of Rising Sun Energy; Kitchen of Champions; Lao Family Community Development; Opportunity Junction; Rubicon; Stride Center; Wardrobe for Opportunity; and Youth Business USA.
